The Hemingfords are two of the prettiest villages in Huntingdonshire, with period cottages, gravel drives and lanes running down towards the Great Ouse.
We deliver here several times a week from our recycling facility at Warboys, around nine miles away. Delivery and collection are free across PE28, same day is often available, and our drivers know the lanes well.
Choose your skip size below and book online, or give our team a call if you would like some advice on which size suits your property.

Almost certainly. We deliver in the Hemingfords several times a week and our drivers know Common Lane, Church Lane and the roads down towards the river well. If you would like us to check a particular address before you book, give our team a call and we will be glad to confirm and suggest the best size.
It is a fair question and one we are asked often. A loaded skip does sit heavily in one spot, so we carry boards to spread the weight and our drivers will put them down for you. Just mention it when you book and we will make sure they have them on board.
No. All of them fall within our free delivery area, along with the Hemingfords themselves, Needingworth and Holywell. Delivery and collection are included in the price you see.
Stop and give us a call. Asbestos cannot go in a skip, but we are licensed to handle it and can arrange a separate collection and safe disposal. It turns up most often in garage roofs, old pipe lagging and textured ceiling coatings, so it is worth knowing what to look for before you start.
We make skip hire simple, fast and hassle-free.
Same day delivery is often available and next day is standard. Book online at any time and our team will confirm your slot with you.
Every skip comes with seven days’ hire included. If you think your job is going to run over, give us a call and we will aim to extend your booking where we can. If you fill it early and need another, we can usually arrange a quick exchange.
Most properties here have their own driveway or hard standing, so the majority of our deliveries need no permit at all.
If the skip does need to go on the road, a permit is required. Both villages are in Huntingdonshire, but the permit is issued by Cambridgeshire County Council as the highway authority for the whole county.
Permits cost £90 and you can add one straight to your booking at checkout. We take care of the application with the council on your behalf, so there is nothing for you to fill in. Both villages are conservation areas, so if you are unsure where the skip can sit, our team will happily confirm before you book.
We cover Hemingford Grey, Hemingford Abbots, Houghton, Wyton, Hartford, Needingworth and Holywell, all with free delivery and collection.
This is one of our regular routes, so we are often in the area anyway and can sometimes fit a delivery or collection around your day.
These are houses that get worked on rather than cleared out, so most of what we collect here is renovation and landscaping waste. Extension work, roofing, old plaster and garden projects make up the bulk of it.
Period properties do throw up the occasional surprise. Anything built or altered before 2000 can contain asbestos, most often in garage roofs, outbuildings and pipe lagging. It cannot go in a skip, but we hold the relevant licence and can arrange a separate collection, so please just give us a call if you turn something up.
Everything we take away goes back to our own facility at Warboys to be sorted, where we aim to recycle 100% of the waste that comes through our doors.
As an experienced waste management and recycling company, Woodford Recycling are proud to provide a prompt, professional and reliable service. With our head office in Cambridgeshire we serve customers in Cambridge, Peterborough, Huntingdon and across the whole of the UK.
