Cambourne is one of the more straightforward places we deliver to, and one where people often expect the process to be more complicated than it is.
Because the whole town was built from 1998 onwards, almost every property has a driveway or allocated parking. That usually means no road permit, no council application and no waiting. Delivery and collection are free across CB23.
Choose your skip size below and book online, or give our team a call if you would like some help choosing.

Need a hand? Explore our most frequently asked questions.
Almost certainly not. Nearly every property in Cambourne has a driveway or allocated space, and a skip on your own land needs no permit at all. If yours does have to go on the road, we will arrange the permit for you at £90.
If it is mostly soil, turf and slabs, go smaller than instinct suggests. Those materials are very heavy and a 4 or 6 yard skip will usually reach its weight limit before it looks full. If it is mostly fencing, decking and green waste, go bigger, as that is bulky but light. Give our team a call and describe the job and we will point you to the right size.
Usually, yes. Some of the newer Cambourne phases have courtyard and mews-style parking, so just mention it when you book and our team will work out with you where the skip can go.
No. Delivery and collection are included in the price across CB23, along with VAT, seven days’ hire and all disposal.
We make skip hire simple, fast and hassle-free.
Same day delivery is often available and next day is standard. Book online at any time and our team will confirm your slot with you.
Every skip comes with seven days’ hire included. If you think your job is going to run over, give us a call and we will aim to extend your booking where we can. If you fill it early and need another, we can usually arrange an exchange.
In most cases, no. If your skip is going on your driveway, allocated parking space or garden, you can simply book it and we will deliver.
If it does need to go on the road, a permit is required and it comes from Cambridgeshire County Council rather than South Cambridgeshire District Council. Permits cost £90 and you can add one straight to your booking at checkout, and we take care of the application for you.
One thing worth checking first is your own paperwork. Some Cambourne developments have management company rules covering shared parking and communal areas, which sit separately from the council.
We deliver to Bar Hill, Papworth Everard, Caxton, Bourn, Highfields Caldecote, Hardwick, Fen Drayton, Swavesey, Elsworth, Boxworth, Knapwell and Eltisley, all with free delivery and collection.
Almost everything we collect here is garden and home improvement work rather than demolition or clearance.
Cambourne gardens were handed over as bare turf, and a decade or two on, people are landscaping them properly. Old turf, subsoil, decking, fencing and patio slabs make up a large share of what we take away. Those materials are heavy, so a 4 or 6 yard skip will often hold as much as you can legally load even when it does not look full, and our team is happy to advise before you book.
We also see a steady run of garage conversions, loft conversions and conservatory removals, which produce a more mixed waste stream and usually suit an 8 yard skip.
One advantage of the newer housing stock is that asbestos is very rarely an issue here, which is one less thing to think about compared with the older villages.
