Can I have a skip in the Godmanchester conservation area?

In most streets, yes, with a permit, which we arrange for you at £90. A few of the narrower historic streets are more difficult, so if you are in that part of town give our team a call with your address and we will confirm what is possible before you book. If a skip will not work, we can suggest an alternative.

My house is listed. Does that affect anything?

Not for the skip itself, provided it sits on the highway with a permit or on your own hard standing rather than against the building. It may be worth a thought about the waste though. If you are stripping out period features, some of it can have genuine salvage value, and our team is happy to talk that through.

Will a skip fit at my property?

In most cases, yes. Properties on the newer estates take a 6 or 8 yard skip on the driveway without difficulty. In the old town, frontages can be narrower, so a call to our team with your address will get you a straight answer on the best size.

Do you charge for delivery in Godmanchester?

Do You Need a Skip Permit in Godmanchester?

For anything on the road, one is required, and it comes from Cambridgeshire County Council rather than Huntingdonshire District Council.
